Happy Summer Everyone! We are changing up our home tour schedule for the next three months, so please mark your calendars with the following date changes.  The tour will now be on the 2nd Saturday of the month and the 3:00 time will remain in place.  We are also adding a short informative lecture at the end of each tour featuring local experts who will speak about home and garden sustainability relevant to the summer season.

Echo Park native and native landscape designer Andrea Barbosa will speak about how to maximize environmental regeneration by using sustainable gardening practices and integrating companion planting with drought tolerant, edible & California native plant selections that bring beauty to your landscape and help you save water. For the home, Chris Reilly and Natalie Freidberg of the East Side Water Alliance will give you clever tips on how to conserve water complete with affordable water wise gadgets that will save you $$$.

Christy Wilhelmi of Gardenerd will share her knowledge about harvesting your summer garden as well as many yummy ways to utilize your abundant crops.  You will also learn how to amend your soil for the fall season.
